A "new" character I'm working on.

* His name is Alejandro Chantall. His species is a bat.
His colors will be black-bluish, but I'm not finished with his design just yet, but I think I'm close getting there, and I'll probably settle with something like this. I might change minor details here and there...
You might recognize his face: The lion in my comic borrowed his attitude and haircut

I uploaded this to show you how I design/progress in the
design of my characters.

* This is the latest sketch I've made of Alejandro... I have several other drawings/sketches of him where I've experimented a lot with the different possibilities. In general I spend much time on my characters' designs, personality and background stories.

* I'm not sure I'm going to give Alejandro C. much more than a personality since he, after all, just is a bi-character I'm working on. I'm afraid I don't know if I'm going to use him or not... But nevertheless I thought it would be fun and interesting just to design a new fan character for my collection.


* About Jack Rittler, Fiona Swan and Stanley De Laviin - I don't mind if you ignore this part if you're not interested.

I spent an awful lot of time on Jack Rittler's design and story. He was my very first serious character that I've spent a lot of work on.
... I have made other fan characters before him, but they were just for fun and not thought through at all, so they were trashed long ago.
Jack Rittler though, will always keep being my handsome, arrogant and stupid main character. Yay

I think it took me a whole year to design Fiona Swan.
Unbelievable considering how simple her design ended up being! I always had an idea of her personality ready for her during that whole year.

Stanley De Laviin beats all records for being the character I created the fastest! I just made one single doodle saying "this will be a gay character! "... And then I looked at it for a lil' while... and not many seconds later I fell in love with him And so, I immediately started working on a good personality and background story for him. Unlike Fiona Swan, I got Stanley's design ready right from the beginning; just needed the personality.
.... I really liked the idea of him being in love with a straight guy... No less than Jack!
