Ghost Pirates

Result of Wednesday's assignment.

When we were going to upload this in the "assignment presentation" folder, we decided to call it "Tired"... Of obvious reasons. We're all exhausted after this week; there has been many working (very) late hours


I was really happy about the feedback I got from this assigment, I feel my hard work has payed off well. I'm also very satisfied with the picture myself.
Lawrence (our teacher) complimented on the fog, and the gradient, especially the gradient on the ship. He said it was almost a shame that I wasn't a CGA student.
That means a lot to me since I know he's a very harsh and honest teacher (in the awesome way) - and that is both good and bad, he'll let you know if he isn't satisfied with your work


I seriously don't think there are any teachers like that guy O_o ... He hates being a teacher and he'll do anything not to be like one. (He is working on a project here in Denmark, and he has taken the teacher job by the side of that... I don't think it was all voluntarily )

He comepared himself to a movie villain since he has a pretty much bald head. Bald people in movies are typically villains.
But I do think he's a great techer though. I really love his cold attitude - There are most likely no teachers with that attitude and with that many golden punchlines.
A couple of these golden moments could be when he said:
- "Don't push to kill, push to get better"
- "I know most of you guys are new with photoshop and it is a huge assignment I have given you, so in only two days I can't expect you guys to do better than that... Although I do!"
- "There IS no Santa Claus! I killed Santa Claus with my penis!"
... And there is a lot more where that came from; these are only a few from today.
I love the fact that his favorite student is the one who hates him the most...
You can sence that this teacher is the one (of all teachers I have ever had) who has made the biggest impression on me
(I have always only had nice or grumpy teachers, so this one stands out ) .... Must be because he doesn't hide that he hates us all

Ghost pirate ship, with a mouth-like crack on the front that fog and ghosts run out from. The ghosts flies inside the houses, and since they can't steal material goods they steal soles.
The ship is completely silent, the only way to notice it's approach is because it starts smelling weird, it gets cold, and the wind increases (You can faintly hear creaking from the mast).
